The space between vision and reality? That’s where we live.

Operating since 2014, Everywhere Except is a woman-owned, minority-owned strategy and creative studio founded on a simple belief: the best transformations happen when smart strategy meets cultural insight and decisive action.

About Jyah.

With 15+ years building brands and strategies across industries, Jyah brings a unique perspective to defining moments. Her career spans luxury hospitality (Morgans Hotel Group), major creative agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi, Laird + Partners), and partnerships with global brands including General Mills, Diane von Furstenberg, and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.

Since founding Everywhere Except in 2014, she’s applied this cross-sector expertise to help organizations navigate vital moments - launching groundbreaking consumer, non-profit, and philanthropic initiatives, re-imagining the next chapter for legacy organizations, and supporting moments of exponential scale.

Over the past decade, she’s helped organizations from Amref Health Africa to Fast Company World Changing Ideas winners turn bold ambitions into meaningful impact.

Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Forbes, Fast Company, Time, BBC, Tech Crunch, and Bloomberg.

But what we’re most proud of? The lasting change our partners create long after our work together ends.

Our work spans direct partnerships & strategic collaborations with:

  • Compound is a creative sanctuary offering a rich blend of culinary experiences, health and wellness programs, and contemporary art. Located in Long Beach’s historically under-resourced Zaferia neighborhood, we believe that culture shifts consciousness, and that access to creative space transforms the individual and builds crucial social bonds in our local and regional community.

  • Amref Health Africa is the largest Africa-based healthcare nonprofit, serving millions of people every year across 35 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. We strengthen health systems and train African health workers to respond to the continent’s most critical health challenges. Our approach is community-based and makes the people we reach partners rather than just beneficiaries. Over 97% of our global staff are Africans, so we are always tackling African challenges with African expertise.
