The space between vision and reality? That’s where we live.
Operating since 2014, Everywhere Except is a woman-owned, minority-owned strategy and creative studio founded on a simple belief: the best transformations happen when smart strategy meets cultural insight and decisive action.
About Jyah.
I’ve never worked at the plateau stage.
My entire career has been spent in pivotal moments. Scaling events and the (re)launch of hotels at Morgans Hotel Group. Breaking new ground for my General Mills portfolio at Saatchi & Saatchi. Reimagining legacy brands and exploring new markets for clients at Laird+Partners. And as the founder of strategy + creative studio Everywhere Except for the last 11+ years, working with visionary corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders to bring their vision to life through cross-sector intelligence.
We specialize in turning pivotal moments into competitive advantage through cross-pollination - transferring insights across industries, cultures, and contexts where others see boundaries.
Discovery maps your distinctive opportunity landscape. Strategy designs the roadmap from vision to reality. Implementation brings your strategy to life.
The kind of partnership where bold ideas actually get implemented. Visionary leaders at companies, nonprofits, and philanthropic entities trust us when the stakes are high.
Over the past decade, we’ve helped organizations from Amref Health Africa to Fast Company World Changing Ideas winners navigate their defining moments. Our work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Forbes, Fast Company, Time, BBC, TechCrunch, and Bloomberg.

Amref Health Africa is the largest Africa-based healthcare nonprofit, serving millions of people every year across 35 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. We strengthen health systems and train African health workers to respond to the continent’s most critical health challenges. Our approach is community-based and makes the people we reach partners rather than just beneficiaries. Over 97% of our global staff are Africans, so we are always tackling African challenges with African expertise.
