Given Yudren’s outlook as an artist vs a jeweler or ‘brand’ per se, we needed to break the mold on how jewelry is traditionally packaged.
Bringing on a brilliant friend and industrial designer, with whom I have an intuitive dialogue, our collaborative process took us on an exploration that resulted in an extremely modular system made of beautiful scrap leathers. The packaging became an object in and of itself, prime for repurposing by customers - for YR’s jewelry as well as their own.
Modularity was the direction taken for the Yudren Rose sales/press kit, enabling users to assemble a kit according to a specific need. Taking cues from the language created for packaging, our sales kits took shape.
